Icing:
Comes with or without marzipan. This icing, as is mane suggests, is very
fine. Not only does it melt wonderfully in the mouth and give cakes a
marvellous sculpted look, it also lasts for a very long time, and thus
is used for the top tier of wedding cakes which are stored for the first
anniversary.
Soft Cream:
Soft cream icing is very much what it sounds like -a delicate creamy icing
which allows for softer finishes and compliments sponge cake well. All
our sponge cakes are layered with plentiful soft cream if you with it.
Marzipan:
Marzipan, an almond paste, is marvellous as a topping on its own or with
Royal icing (most common). It is especially suited to rich fruitcakes.
Fresh Fruit:
Fresh fruit, for example strawberries, adds colour and variety to your
wedding cake. The choice of fruit is very much up to your design.
